What is Pigment Laser?

The treatment

Do you suffer from hyperpigmentation, an uneven skin complexion and pigment spots? Then our pigment laser might be the solution! Hyperpigmentation in the face can be experienced as very cosmetically disturbing.

The Quanta System Duetto MT EVO

The new revolutionary laser The Quanta System Duetto MT EVO ensures that hyperpigmentation is reduced. How does laser work exactly? The laser is a light source that works at a specific wavelength (Alexandrite 755 nm) that is absorbed by melanin (pigment), which heats the pigment spot and eventually destroys it, without causing damage to the surrounding tissues. The result can be seen up to a few months after the treatment, patience is very important.

How many treatments are needed?

The laser treatment must be repeated on average 1 to 4 times with a treatment frequency of 3 to 4 weeks. The desired result is an average of 60 to 100% reduction of pigmentation with the exception of (pregnancy) hormones, certain medications and UV radiation. The number of treatments also depends on the type and depth of the pigment. Results may vary by individual.

Are there treatment alternatives? Yes, you can also reduce hyperpigmentation by means of camouflage therapy, microneedling or peelings (Cosmelan from Mesoestetic). Discuss the possibilities with one of our skin therapists.

The pigment laser can be used for the following indications:
